Politics and corruption

Reading the paper I found this following article.
The one thing I keep wondering, ‘how important is FRANCE?’

From the article: “Speaking to a packed session of the legislature, Sarkozy also called on Israel to stop building settlements in the West Bank. But he tempered his address by assuring Israel that it could count on France's support in halting Iran's nuclear program.”

Really, it’s not like they do anything useful at all. Any war that they have fought in, they have surrendered. So, how important is the opinion of an anti-Semitic country where there are more arabs than Frenchmen?

Again, just a thought

I think a more serious issue is the sick deal concluded today whereby the Kadima led coalition of thugs and wreckers will remain in power in Medinat Yisrael, ostensibly under a new Prime Minister. Frankly, in my estimation the only honest party left in Israel is Alle Yarok, the potheads whose sole platform is to legalize marijuana in the Jewish State.

While it's true that the French have not been a military power since the early 1800's and that "Great French Military Victories" is the 2nd shortest book at the library ("Successful Jewish Atheletes" is apparently the shortest) never underestimate the French ability to cause trouble by selling weapons, parts and expertise to one's enemies.
Remember that after the Gulf War the French helped Saddam out tremendously so they could give the US indigestion.
Sarkozy probably won't do anything, he's too busy with the turmoil his policies have created in French society but if he's succeeded by another anti-Israel leftist like the one he replaced, France could do lots of diplomatic and economic damage to Israel.
