OY!

It is articles like this one that make me want to run and hide in the closet. This post is for everyone out there that believes that all Jewish people are good. This is for everyone that cannot face the truth even though they know better. Read and enjoy!

Makes one cringe.
BTW, how'd I make it to the top of your read list?

While I like the idea of kiruv in general, in reality it has several problems. One is the perception it sells of the observant world - that all those Jews who wear cerain clothes and call themselves Orthodox are automatically moral, upright folk. I remember one Baal Teshuvah line I couldn't stand: "Of course I knew I could trust him. He's frum, after all."

It's people who fall for these lines that get into this sort of trouble. People who think that "sprituality" and morality are inextricably linked. They get involved with such cults and suffer for it.

May Hashem bring healing to those this evil man has injured and cause this foolishness to cease from our people.

My bad for not answering earlier, you are on the top of my list because my husband recommended you to me for a 'nice' read. I think you are hilarious, therefore the top.
